GW4-30kV(40.5kV) Outdoor High Voltage Disconnector

The GW4-40.5 Series Outdoor High-Voltage Disconnecting Switch is a newly redesigned switch developed in accordance with current national and international standards to overcome various issues found in original GW4 switches. Featuring excellent electrical and mechanical performance, it serves as the ideal upgraded replacement for current 10-35kV outdoor switches. It can also be optionally equipped with optical sensors for our "one-key sequential control" function to realize unattended substations and double-confirmation positioning.

The switch features a grounding knife that effectively prevents misoperations such as 'live grounding and grounding switch closing,' eliminating the need for separate grounding lines for operators.

It can be flexibly configured for single-side grounding, double-side grounding, manual mechanisms, electric mechanisms, and integrated lightning arresters. The switch includes mechanical interlocks to prevent misoperations and can be equipped with external electromagnetic locks to interlock between the main knife and grounding knife, as well as between the isolating switch and circuit breaker.

Our company's "One-Button Sequential Control" optical sensor can be added to enable unmanned operation and dual confirmation of the position.

Suitable for polluted areas such as large cities and near industrial and mining enterprises, with an altitude not exceeding 3000m, ambient temperatures between -40°C and +40°C, wind speeds not exceeding 35m/s (noted as 35mm/s in source), and earthquake intensity not exceeding 8 degrees.
