GN27-30kv(40.5kv) Indoor High-Voltage Disconnector

This series of indoor high-voltage isolating switches is designed for three-phase power systems with a rated voltage of 35kV and an AC frequency of 50Hz. It is used to connect and switch lines under voltage without load.

Feature
1

Visible Isolation Gap for Maximum Safety: Provides a distinct, reliable physical break in the open position, ensuring absolute safety for technicians performing downstream maintenance.

2

Robust Mechanical Interlocking System: Features reliable mechanical interlock provisions to prevent misoperation (such as opening or closing under load), safeguarding both operators and primary assets.

3

Low-Resistance Current-Carrying Design: Main contacts and conductive paths are manufactured from high-purity electrolytic copper with silver-plating options, minimizing temperature rise and power loss during continuous full-load operations.

4

High-Grade Insulation Performance: Utilizes superior epoxy resin insulators and porcelain components offering high creepage distances, preventing flashovers in confined indoor environments.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

Q1: What is the main function of an indoor disconnecting switch?
A: An indoor disconnecting switch (isolator) is primarily used to create a visible insulation gap in medium-voltage circuits when equipment is de-energized, ensuring safe maintenance. It is designed to switch small capacitive or inductive currents, but not heavy load or short-circuit currents.

Q2: What voltage tiers are available in Chennuo’s indoor isolator series?
A: Our indoor disconnecting switch series covers standard voltage classes from 10kV/12kV, 24kV, up to 40.5kV, with rated currents ranging from 630A to 2000A to suit various distribution layouts.

Q3: Does the switch include grounding capabilities?
A: Yes. We offer flexible configurations including switches without grounding blades, with single-side grounding blades, or with double-side grounding blades (earthing switches) to fulfill specific safety interlocking requirements.

Q4: Can these indoor isolators be operated with a motor, or are they strictly manual?
A: They support standard manual operation via an operating handle (CS mechanism). Additionally, motorized operation options can be configured upon request for automated substation applications.

Q5: What certifications and standards do your disconnecting switches comply with?
A: Our products are manufactured in strict compliance with relevant IEC standards and national GB standards (such as GB/T 1985 for high-voltage alternating disconnectors and earthing switches), ensuring seamless international project deployment.
