Sino-Russian University-Enterprise Jointly Establishes Safety Electricity Laboratory, Opening a New Chapter in Internationalization for Chennuo Electrical Technology
On May 19, 2025, China's Luoyang Chennuo Electrical Technology Group Co., Ltd. and Russia's Belgorod State Technical University held strategic cooperation talks at their Luoyang headquarters. Chennuo Group General Manager Zhao Xianhong, Director of International Trade Gao Shangren, and Professor Yuri Vasilievich, Deputy Director of the Institute of Electronic Engineering at Belgorod State Technical University, jointly announced the establishment of the "Chennuo Joint Safety Electricity Laboratory" at the university.
Technology Leads International Cooperation
The laboratory will leverage Chennuo Group's 17 core patented technologies in intelligent power distribution and electrical fire prevention and control, combined with Russia's extensive research in power electronics systems, to focus on research on the adaptability of safety electricity equipment for extremely cold environments. General Manager Zhao Xianhong stated, "This is a significant milestone in the company's Belt and Road Initiative technology export initiative."
Industry-Academic-Research Trinity
Professor Yuri noted, "The laboratory will not only undertake local testing of new safety electrical equipment, but will also establish a joint master's program." Minister Gao Shangren revealed that the first batch of safety electrical equipment certified by the laboratory will enter the CIS market in the future, potentially filling 60% of the local technology gap.
Highlights of the Talks
The event showcased Chennuo's latest safety electrical device, which achieved a false alarm rate of less than 0.3% in preliminary Russian testing. The two sides also signed a collaborative project titled "Comparative Study of Electricity Safety Standards in Eurasia," with plans to produce an industry white paper within three years.
