CKJ5(Y) series low-pressure vacuum contactors

The CKJ5 series vacuum contactors are suitable for AC 50-60Hz power network systems with a main circuit rated voltage below 1.6kV and rated currents from 160A, 250A, 400A, 630A, 800A, 1000A, and 1250A. They are suitable for long-distance connection and disconnection, frequent starting and control of AC motors, transformers, and capacitor banks. Available in both permanent magnet and electrically held types. They offer stable and reliable performance, require no maintenance, have a long service life, and offer high cost-effectiveness. Permanent magnet vacuum contactors are more energy-efficient, with zero power consumption in secondary control after closing, making them the preferred choice for energy-saving control switches. They are widely used and highly regarded in the market.

Normal Operating and Installation Conditions

  • Altitude: The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000 m;
  • Humidity: At a maximum temperature of +40℃, the relative humidity of the air shall not exceed 50%. Higher humidity is permissible at lower temperatures, such as 90% at 20℃. Measures should be taken to address occasional condensation due to temperature changes.

  • Installation Category: III;
  • Installation: The inclination of the mounting surface from the vertical plane shall not exceed ±15 degrees;
  • Shock and Vibration: The location shall be free from significant shock, vibration, and shaking;
  • Transportation and Storage: -25℃ to +55℃, with a short-term (24h) limit to +70℃.
  • Ambient Air Temperature: -5℃ to +40℃; and the average temperature over 24 hours shall not exceed +35℃.
